STUDIO GUIDE

Start small. Keep going.

A quick guide from your first idea to a reel you can play back.

  1. Put your idea on the canvas

Open the studio, type a story idea, and choose Start creating. Use Add node in the sidebar for an idea, scene, or reference. Cards created through that form appear after you select Add; Cancel or × discards them. For a faster path, use the + on an existing card and choose a type to create a connected node immediately.

  2. Bring your references

Use Add node → Upload reference in the sidebar to attach a character sheet, image, PDF or TXT file (up to 10 MB). Inspiration links to the Internet Movie Script Database; browsing a script there does not automatically add it to your story.

  3. Connect and organize

Drag from a dot on one card to a dot on another. Click × on a line to remove a connector. Each node has edit and delete buttons. Find a node searches your cards; Tidy nodes, below Add node in the sidebar, arranges them. Undo can restore your recent canvas changes.

  4. Shape the storyboard

Write one story beat per line in an idea, then choose Build storyboard to make an outline. You can also add scenes individually. Choose Storyboard to edit the scenes, attach reference frames, choose 5-, 10-, or 15-second durations, and reorder them.

  5. Arrange your reel

Open Asset library from the sidebar to upload images and videos (up to 100 MB each). In Reel, add media from the bin to the timeline. Select a clip to adjust its in and out points, split it at the playhead, move it, or delete it. Use the monitor to play and scrub through the result. Finished-video export isn’t available yet.

  6. Keep track of your drafts

Expand the sidebar for labels, then open Projects. Choose a draft without changing its position in the list. Delete moves it to Recently deleted, where it can be restored. Drafts and uploads are stored locally: use the same browser and device, and keep originals outside the studio.

  7. Prepare for clip generation

Generate clips opens a panel on the right. Save a scene, prompt, model preference, aspect ratio, and low- or high-priority queue preference. These are planning settings; generation, the paid prompt helper, and checkout are not connected yet.
